The Marina Rey Beach Resort is about an hour's journey by car/bus from the port and airport of Cagliari, from which it is about 60 km away, opposite the enchanting beach of Piscina Rei (Costa Rei), considered one of the most beautiful and unspoilt beaches in Sardinia, not far from the Capo Ferrato promontory, where long beaches alternate with wonderful cliffs. The surrounding landscape, characterised by the typical Mediterranean maquis, inspires a relaxing holiday.All rooms, in typical Sardinian style, have a patio or veranda equipped with table, chairs, ashtray and clothesline, private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, electronic safe, minibar (charges apply), LCD TV.The Resort has a very popular restaurant with two dining rooms, one with a covered veranda open on two sides and an air-conditioned indoor one. The service offers a wide variety of cuisine daily in a serene and informal atmosphere with an assigned table for the main meals, with buffet service. Breakfast, in addition to the usual cafeteria, offers a wide selection of sweet and savoury foods. For lunch and dinner, the rich and varied gastronomic offer includes specialities of typical Sardinian and national cuisine, with bottled natural or sparkling water and white or red house wine on tap included with meals. During the week there are two theme evenings; one Sardinian, with typical regional dishes and one "del pescatore" with fish (alternative meat and/or vegetarian dishes are always available). The restaurant does not offer a dedicated vegetarian and/or vegan menu; the kitchen may propose a dish to suit the diet followed if the buffet does not include any option corresponding to this dietary choice (e.g. pasta with vegetables). Intolerances: For guests with food intolerances (such as gluten or lactose), basic packaged products (bread, pasta, biscuits, etc.) are available. Guests with food intolerances are always asked to report them when booking and at check-in. The Resort does not have a separate area for gluten-free cuisine, so we cannot guarantee the absence of contamination for non-packaged products.Check-in from 4 p.m. . Check-out by 10am . Club Card (Compulsory from 5 years of age and to be paid on arrival together with the tourist tax as established by the Municipality of Muravera) includes: daytime and evening entertainment, Mini-Club (4/12 years) and Young Club (12/17 years), use of sports and recreational facilities, beach service with one umbrella and two sunbeds per room from the 3rd row (independent of the number of occupants of the room), swimming pool with solarium equipped with showers, sunbeds and umbrellas subject to availability, beach volleyball court, playground, canoes, pedal boats and shuttle bus to and from the tennis courts and soccer fields outside the Resort. Pets: Small dogs, cats, rabbits and birds (max. 5 kg) are allowed in a limited number and on request at a cost of Euro 10 per night plus Euro 70 for the final cleaning of the room, to be added to the cost per night. Beach: The Resort's main feature is its fine white sandy beach, equipped with one sun umbrella and two sun loungers per room (irrespective of the number of people in the room) from the third row (the first and second rows can be booked on site). The beach (approx. 500 metres from the main building) can be reached by walking along a convenient level path inside the Resort or by taking a convenient electric shuttle bus, with a pick-up point at the beginning of the path.
