Rimigliano Natural Park, an oasis of flora and fauna right on the seafront, deserves a paragraph in itself. Founded in 1973, covering approximately 120 hectares, the park is one of the most attractive places on the coast, easy to access and wonderful to
explore. Along the stretch where it is found, on the beach between San Vincenzo and Baratti Bay, sea lilies bloom, and the sand dunes are covered with junipers, myrtle and lentils, while the forests of oak and thick brush of pine beach . In the park, there
are red squirrels, buzzards, wild rabbits, worms and foxes, as well as pheasants, chickadees, dams and green tips. San Vincenzo also offers the opportunity to enjoy all kinds of water sports, with facilities for swimming, fishing, diving, sailing, water skiing
and windsurfing. In addition, there are sports fields and athletics courts, two basketball and volleyball courts, a swimming pool, a velodrome and an aerodrome. Rimigliano beach is part of the Costa degli Etruschi (Etruscan coast), a seaside paradise left
in its natural state.
