Monte Bondone - beautiful mountains in bella Italia!
Rich in history, the mountain Monte Bondone is located only approx. 15 km from Trent. The three idyllic districts at the Monte Bondone offer an ideal entry point to the ski area. After an exciting day on the pistes there are some great activities on offer, such as après ski on the pistes, ice skating and tobogganing. In the various restaurants and pizzerias, the famous Italian kitchen is waiting to be enjoyed and is a great way to let the day come to a close.
For nature lovers this area is perfect: in the nature reserve Tre Cime del Monte Bondone and the Alpine Botanical Gardens visitors can enjoy the harmony and peace in nature. Also very worthy of a visit is the city of Trent with its historic town centre, the romantic cathedral, various museums and great shopping possibilities.
SkiWith the lift pass "Monte Bondone" you can enjoy approx. 19 km of pistes, which are well-developed and can be covered with snow completely. Monte Bondone (1,184 – 2,090 m) transforms itself each winter into a charming ski centre. The impressive 360° panorama which overlooks the Trentino mountains, the Brenta Dolomites all the way to Val di Fassa mountains will get the hearts of winter sports fans to beat a little faster.
6 modern lifts allow you to access the 20 kilometres of piste, which can be covered with man-made snow. A diverse selection of runs offers beginners as well as experts loads of fun on the piste. Those looking for a challenge should try out the 3.5 km long run “Gran Pista” with about 800 m difference in elevation! This piste has already been nominated the most beautiful run of the Trentino. Snowboarders will find in the snow park with boarder cross, half-pipes, jumps and super-pipe (120 m) their personal Eldorado.
Those who did not get enough during the day also have the opportunity to conquer the flood light runs! Thursdays and Saturdays 3 lit up pistes are available to you.
Sociable aprés ski bars are directly accessible from the pistes. Local restaurants and pizzerias invite visitors to a cosy dinner, where they will be able to indulge in the famous Italian Kitchen. In addition to excitement on the pistes, the region of Monte Bondone offers further attractive opportunities for travellers to spend the days. In the noteworthy landscape on the plateau Viote (1,550 m) visitors will find the gorgeous Monte Bondone cross-country ski track network. The cross-country tracks stretch out over 35 km and most lead skiers through the mountain landscape rich in vegetation. The tracks are well prepared and offer amazing views of the surrounding Brenta Dolomites and the “Three Peaks Mountain Group” consisting of Cima Verde (2,102 m), Dos d’Abramo (2,140 m) and the Cornet (2,180 m). Parts of this promising cross-country skiing track are fitted with snow making devices. Additionally ski tours and snow shoe hiking are very popular!
