Alba (1,517 m), the quieter district of Canazei, is especially well-known for its black extreme run, which descends steeply into the valley. The 3-km long descent with a 658 m difference in altitude proves a challenge for all ambitions ski freaks. Access
to the pistes and tracks is made perfect with the cable car, which leaves from Alba and goes directly up to Ciampac (2,100 m).
The traditional village offers its guests numerous paths and trails, which run directly from the valley floor to the mountain peaks. These surround the resort and are a popular destination for hiking enthusiasts. Many bars invite you in to a cosy drink and
in the neighbouring resort Canazei there are many further possibilities to find diverse entertainment, e.g. in the Eghe Wellness Centre.
