It lies in the valley below Cortona, the oldest Etruscan settlement, and is surrounded by the typical Tuscan countryside. Just outside the hotel is a stop for public transport and the nearby town of Cortona (about 4 km) you can find many shops, bars, pubs and tourist attractions. Nearby attractions include Lake Trasimeno, Arezzo, Pienza, Montalcino, Assisi and Siena, which is about 70 km away. The original building materials have been cleverly restored and reused thus combining the typical atmosphere of a traditional agricultural community with adequate for the needs of all time art facilities.
