This hotel is located in one of the oldest fortified castles in the area, towering high in the countryside of Strove. In the Middle Ages this castle belonged to the ancestors of the old noble Montanini family. Its coat of arms well recounts the family's history. Colle Val d'Elsa is only a 10-minute drive away. Florence is just 50 minutes away by car, whilst Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Volterra and Chianti are all also within driving distance.Today the castle is a tourist residence, which has been renovated maintaining the original elements of the structure from the 12th Century. It comprises a total of 14 suites and offers guests the opportunity to relax in the Tuscan countryside without having to forego quality accommodation.
