Position: The Maison is located in the ancient village of Maè, set in the magnificent Ayas Valley, which at 1100metres above sea level is considered by many to be Europe’s most beautiful. It faces a fabulous view of the Castle of Graines, and is surrounded by the peaks of Mont Nery and the Dame de Challand, and countless Alpine huts, farmsteads and mountain lakes. Rooms: Rooms at Maison Dominique are decorated with wooden floors and rustic furnishings. They provide a tea and coffee maker, and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Restaurant: The Aosta restaurant LA MAJON, which is located at the Torretta Hotel just 200 meters from the property, recreates the atmosphere of a mountain hut, resulting in a wonderfully intimate context in which visitors can treat themselves with traditional Alpine cuisine and local wines. Sumptuous curtains, ancient wooden furniture given a new lease of life, and the warmth of the stone and larch fireplace turn a lunch or dinner into a wonderful experience.
