Location
The Palazzo di Varignana Resort & Spa is surrounded by greenery, surrounded by around 20 hectares large, hilly parkland. The heart of the resort is the historic villa perched on a hill dating from 1705, then called Bentivoglio, which is close to the typical holiday residence of Tuscany in the 17th century.

The small, idyllic resort Varignana is located about 500m from the hotel. Bologna is around 25km away, the Castel San Pietro thermal bath is a 10-minute drive away.

Accouterment
The elegant Palazzo di Varignana Resort & SPA was newly opened in autumn 2013 and consists of a restored villa and the new main house with a modern lobby and 24-hour reception. The elegant restaurant "Il Palazzo" (open on SAT & SUN from 7.30pm–10.30pm) represents a true encounter with the culinary history of Italy and serves authentic dishes and national cuisine. You will also find a selection of local and international wines.
The Pool Bar & Lounge is located in the green of the generous Resort Park. Here you can sample typical local light meals. Lovers of classical traditions are served delicious pizzas from the wood stove. In nice weather you may enjoy the creative cuisine on the panoramic terrace.

The Palazzo di Varignana Resort & SPA is also the ideal setting for any kind of event. Whether in the old cellar of the mansion, in the multi-purpose area "Spazia Belvedere" or on the spacious terrace.

The charming and functional rooms have high-quality materials and elegant fittings and tasteful decor elements. The rooms are located in small, stone houses, scattered over the complex.

Included: admission to the VarSana SPA is included in the room rate for 3 hours once a day per night. On 1.800m² it features an indoor pool with underwater jets, whirlpool, ice waterfall, a sound pool, a panoramic gym and a Kneipp course and a large relaxation area with a tea house. Bio-sauna, Finnish sauna and steam room.
