Verdura Golf & Spa Resort is located on the south coast of Sicily near the fishing village of Sciacca and 50km from Agrigento. Recommended by Conde Nast Traveller in their 2010 Hot List, the resort offers discreet exclusivity that few places can match. The resort is set over 230 hectares of stunning landscape with 1.8km of private coastline, yet has just 203 rooms and suites, giving a true sense of space and privacy. All rooms have private terraces and sea views. The Olga Polizzi-designed interiors combine modern luxury with authentic Sicilian motifs. There are two 18-hole championship golf courses and a 9-hole, six tennis courts, a 60m infinity swimming pool, a fully-equipped gym and running trails. The resort's restaurants and bars celebrate Sicilian cuisine with menus created from fresh organic ingredients complemented by a superb wine list. For those seeking deep relaxation the Verdura Spa provides exceptional experience with four thalassotherapy pools, an extensive treatment menu and personalised well-being programs. Superior Deluxe rooms are situated in the Landscape Villas, close to the sea, and measure approximately 46sqm. The rooms have a lovely terrace with sofa and seating area where guests can enjoy room service dinner. All rooms incorporate a king-sized bed/twin beds, outdoor terrace with sea views, work desk, broadband internet connection, yoga mats and a beach bag and towels. The rooms are designed in a fresh and contemporary Sicilian style with carefully chosen artwork and fabrics in rich, warm and restful hues.
