Brixen – skiing fun with medieval flair!
Bressanone este situată la 567 m altitudine şi este cel mai vechi şi în acelaşi timp al treilea cel mai mare oraş al Tirolului de Sud. Fostul oraş episcopal pe Isarco are multe de oferit şi din punct de vedere cultural, pe lângă posibilităţile de practicare a schiurilor de iarnă. Biserici frumoase şi capele şi aşteaptă oaspeţii la fel de nerăbdătoare ca şi străduţele tradiţionale cu magazine şi restaurante confortabile. Pârtiile nu le puteţi pierde din ochi, nici vârfurile impozanţilor Dolomiţi. Muntele local "Plose" se înalţă până la 2.505 m deasupra nivelului mării. Datorită pantelor domoale este foarte bun pentru schi şi infrastructura de instalaţii este foarte bună.
Ski
The lift pass "Eisacktal" grants you access to 88 km of pistes with much fun and diversity for everyone. Between 1,067 and 2,505 m altitude a multitude of pistes with varying difficulties offers the right pick for all winter sports fans. Furthermore from the local mountain "Plose" you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Dolomites. 26 lifts and mountain railways take you up to the family-friendly pistes. But also the more experienced skiers will find a challenge, e.g. on the 9 km and therefore longest run in Southern Tyrol, the "Trametsch". Snowboarders will also have fun in the Snow Island Park. With the upgrade to the "Dolomiti Superski" lift pass, you have the possibility to access further 12 ski areas with 1,202 km of piste (see ski region).
For ending a successful day on the piste in a grand manner, you will find many possibilities to do so in Brixen. Away from the pistes there are some huts and apres ski bars, which invite you to spend the evening in a cosy corner. The numerous restaurants and pubs offer besides a lovely cosy atmosphere also delicious food specialities. More active alternatives can be found in winter hikes, guided snowshoe hikes and tobogganing. On the other hand, relaxation can be found in the "Acquarena" in Brixen, where there are all kinds of water, spa and fitness activities available.
In Brixen you will find 13 km of cross-country trails of all difficulties. The trail at Würzjoch is 8 km long and especially suitable for more experienced skiers. A high-altitude trail at 2,000 m ensures a lovely view of the surrounding area. In the neighbouring communities you will find a further 53 km of trails available. The cross-country runs are mainly suitable for good to experiences skiers.
