About Fai della Paganella - presentation, information, photos and recommendations
Fai della Paganella - Italian placidity meets Dolce Vita!
In the past few centuries, Fai della Paganella has been a popluar gathering point in the Paganella area and by the beginning of the 19th century, the first skiing pioneers were already exploring the region. Today, the ski area caters to modern requirements with advanced lift and snowmaking systems.
With its traditional houses, the resort kept its rural charme. The beautiful landscapes of the Trentino region make an ideal surrounding for active holidays that you can spend not also with winter sports, but also also with plenty of other varied activities. The sunny location on a high-plateau, the tranquility and Fai della Paganella's charm will enchant you!
SkiWith the "Paganella" lift pass, you have access to 33 kilometres of piste and 18 lifts at altitudes between 1,030 - 2,125 m. From Fai della Paganella, and from the neighbouring resort Andalo, you can quickly reach the diverse ski area. The deeper set sections run largely through idyllic pine forests and offer beautiful skiing experiences. The primarily intermediate or easy pistes are ideal for families. This is because there are two facilities for children available - the Pinocchio Club, a "Snow Kindergarden" in Rindole village, as well as Paganella fun park which is two hectare large.
On the legendary world cup piste "3-Tre", cracks can burn off steam and match up to heroes like Zeno Colò, who wrote sports history here in 1950. Or, test yourself on the 5 km long olympic slope, which transcends an altitude difference of 1,075 m. Even the US ski team has established its European training centre here and lets its world up and Europe cup skiers train for combination, Super-G and giant slalom. Also gorgeous are the deep snow areas, which open up at the peak of Paganella. Boarders can run riot in the snowpark "Dosson".
The lift pass "Combi (5+1)" is valid for 5 days on all pistes in the ski area Paganella, as well as 1 day in one of the other ski areas of Skirama, such as e.g. Folgarida-Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo, Passo del Tonale, Pejo, Monte Bondone or Folgaria.
Fai della Paganella also wins over guests with its après-ski: as in many Italian resorts, you can enjoy the dolce vita and relax with good food in the numerous restaurants and mountain lodges, or simply enjoy some time over a cup of coffee in a coffee house. Guests can also experience some great night life in Andalo, e.g. at "Artcafé la Flocca" or in "Discoteca Shuttle", where the partying and dancing continues until late at night.
If you'd rather stay sporty, take advantage of Andalo's sport centre, where you can go ice skating on the ice rink for instance. In the "Acqua In", a spa and beauty centre with an indoor pool, you can enjoy massages or make use of the sauna and steam baths. Fans of nature can explore the surroundings on altogether 30 km of winter hike trails. The trail leads through the plateau's five valleys as well as the wildlife park Adamello-Brenta. Or you can try the cross-country, an adventurous tour with suspension railway and suspension bridges.
The region Paganella offers its guests a total of 8 km of cross-country track, 3 km of which are easier and 5 km more intermediate. Andalo's longest cross-country trail runs from Andalo Priori to and around Andalo's lake and measures 5 km. With the Andalo track "Girolago", the resort also offers a floodlit trail, which will be until 21:00 illuminated.
