Paistos be renamed Lucanians and Romans gave the city its current name.
Paestum ruins are notable for their three ancient Greek temples, which are in a very good state of preservation. Today, the city remains found in modern Frazione same name, which is part of the Common Capaccio Salerno Province, Campania, Italy.
