Palinuro is located on the south side of Cilento, the Tyrrhenian Sea in the north to Cape Palinuro. The city, located in Lambro and Mingardo river estuaries, is also the main port of Comune.
Palinuro Cilento and Vallo belongs di Diano National Park, an area of "Shrubland" typical of Mediterranean countries.
It is popular with tourists, especially in summer, due to its clean waters and beaches; and it is regularly awarded five-star blue flag.
The city is also famous for its caves along the coast, which are visited regularly, especially by divers.
Palinuro | Palinuro is a small town Italian civil populous parish (Frazione) of Centola, province of Salerno in the Campania region. The city is derived from Palinurus, the helmsman of Enea, registered five to six books of the Aeneid
