About Villasimius - presentation, information, photos and recommendations
Due to its site of strategic importance in the territory Villasimius "has been inhabited since prehistoric times, as testified by Nuraghe (19th century BC-6th), Phoenician-Carthaginian (seventh century BC-2 ) and Roman (3rd century BC-century 6th century AD) remains.
In 1998 it was created National Marine Park Capo Carbonara. It includes all the waters surrounding cliffs in the eastern Gulf of Cagliari, on the western border Villasimius "with Solanas, its northern border with Castiadas.
