  The Resort

Fattoria Lavacchio is an Organic farm situated on top of the chianti hills, offering unique acomodation sourrounded by vineyards and olive groves, with stunning views and only 18 km. from Florence.
The Estate allows to enjoy relaxing vineyard holidays, discover the magnificent countryside sceneries and the agricultural secrets whilst being very close to the major art cities.

Florence is very easy to acces by train from Sieci’s railway station which is only 10 minutes ride from the Fattoria.
Fiesole is easily accessable by car in 30 minutes through a panoramic drive.
Siena is about 80 km, Arezzo and Val di Chiana are a mere 60 km drive through typical Tuscan valleys and many charming historic villages to visit on the way.
The tuscan sea side and etruscan coast are about 1 and half hour drive, accesible via the towns of Lucca and Pisa that can be visited on the way.

Four farm houses have been completely redecorated and furnished with great care to ensure the most unforgetable and comfortable stay.
With all it’s varied facilities the Estate offers different vacation possibilities:
- in comfortable rooms or family suites with private bathrooms in “Casabella” and “Casanova”
- in indipendent fully equiped apartments in “Monterifrassine”
- in the indipendent villas “Casa del Mugnaio” and “Casanova”.

Casabella
Casabella is the main house with 8 rooms with ensuite bathroom, reception, swimming-pool and snack bar open from May to the end of September, common living rooms with fireplace, meeting room for 15-20 people, dining room and patio where breakfast and meals are served.

Casanova
It is a quiet farmhouse surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It is situated 250 meters from the main house Casabella direction to the wine cellars and was the last house built in 1884 therefore called Casanova (the new house).

Monterifrassine
Monterifrassine is a separate building with 5 apartments, it is situated 250 m. from the main house Casabella direction to the wind mill. Across the street from the apartments is our gourmet restaurant, “Mulino a Vento” with a panoramic terrace. Close to the restaurant there is the deli shop of the vineyard called "Bottega del Mulino"  where it is  possible to purchase organic wines low sulphites and extra virgin olive oil of the estate and also local products such as ham, cheese, milk, bread, and other delicacies.

Villa Casa del Mugnaio
It is an independent Villa only 200 m. far from the wind mill, 550 m. far from the main house Casabella, and it is called Casa del Mugnaio because it used to be the miller’s home.
