Position: Set on it’s own hilltop overlooking one of the most breathtaking views of the Tuscan landscape, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, the villa of San Filippo near Barberino Val d’Elsa is the ideal retreat for anyone interested in enjoying the various aspects for which Tuscany is famous throughout the world: its history, art, culture and culinary traditions, combined with genuine and friendly care for it’s guests. Rooms: There are 21 apartments divided between apartments and rooms. The rooms are equipped with SAT TV, DVD and air conditioning. Restaurant: The Limonaia" restaurant’s motto is “eat the fruits of your land during their harvest season”. As a matter of fact in the kitchens of Villa San Filippo we make traditional Tuscan cuisine using only the freshest, most natural ingredients, following recipes handed down from generations. The menus vary from day to day, so that our guests may benefit from a varied selection of dishes during their stay. In "La Limonaia" restaurant we use only our “limited-release” extra-virgin olive oil to dress our food, which we produce in the Villa’s traditional oil-mill.
