The village of Torre del Faro and the hotel are located on the coast between Scanzano Jonico and Metaponto. The hotel is separated from the village by a lush pine forest (WWF), and a green walkway leads to the beautiful fine-sand beach which is typical for this untouched stretch of the Ionian coast.
The resort has been designed to offer a variety of entertainment and the best in facilities, which include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, hairdressing salon, auditorium and a kids' club. There is also a cafe, bar and a restaurant. Guests arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the car park, and they may also hire bicycles on the premises.
Decorated in a Mediterranean style, the guest rooms are spacious with an en suite bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, a telephone, ceiling fan, TV, fridge, safe, minibar, and a terrace or patio. There is a daily cleaning service, and bed linens are changed midweek. Clean towels are offered on demand every day.
Guests can enjoy the sport activities in the large swimming pool, such as aqua fit, or play tennis, football, table tennis or beach volleyball. There is also a children's swimming area and a poolside snack bar, and watersports available on the white sandy beach include catamaran boating, canoeing and pedal boating. A massage service is offered and the hotel puts on entertainment programmes for adults and children.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served as buffets.
Guests should take the A1 motorway to Naples, then the A3 to the SS 106 Metaponto motorway. From there head towards Torre del Faro, following signs for Hotel Club Lido or Scanzano.
